 Sara Ingram – Front Desk Co-ordinator - Optical
Sara has been in the optical business for the past four years and has become a certified optician. She has been involved in the management as well a retail side of eye care.
Her responsibilities include all insurance related issues including pre-certification, filing and medical coding. She also is available for appointments or any special arrangements you may need to make your appointment more enjoyable. Sara also can help with your optical needs to include frame styling and lens design.
Sara will be glad to answer any issues related to your insurance either major medical or vision. She also will be a good resource for any questions on your eyewear.

 Linda Oxford – Front Desk
Linda first worked for Dr Lopanik in 1983 when he was in practice with Dr Scarborough. Linda has come and gone a few times over the last twenty five years as her family developed.
Currently her responsibilities are at the front desk to include scheduling appointments, billing issues and answering the phone.

 Tracy Hood – Optometric Technician – Contact Lens coordinator
Tracy comes to us from Atlanta where she had been involved in the eye care field for the past 15 years. She brings a wealth of experience to all facets of patient care in the Optometric practice.
Tracy is responsible for the ordering and receiving of your contact lenses during the course of the year. As an optometric technician she will assist the doctor in the examination of your eyes. Her involvement will include family and medical history taking, pre-testing for eye/medical health evaluation and working with the doctor to determine which will be the most appropriate visual correction. She will be involved in teaching insertion and removal of contacts on our new patients and will be a good source of information on lens care products and all other contact lens related issues.

 Amanda Stuart – Optometric Technician
Amanda is originally from Charlotte N.C. She moved to the Lowcountry in 2005 and has proven to be a beneficial member of the community. Amanda is currently taking advanced study classes at Miller Motte Technical College to further advance her career in Opthalmic Surgeries.
Amanda’s responsibilities are directly related to patient care. Her duties include working directly with the doctors and patients in obtaining case history and pre-testing information for the doctors. She is a good resource for any information about your exam or eye related questions. And if you are fit with contact lenses she will be one of the technicians responsible for the education and training of lens wear.

 William Southerland is attending school at Pennsylvania
College of Optometry. He is an extern doing a clinical rotation in contactlenses with our office.
